Become a Volunteer
Volunteering is rewarding and a great way to give back to your community to make it a better place to live.
We welcome all dedicated people who are willing to give their time, talents and special skills to serve at the BCRC. Our needs range from resource peer-counselor, in-office (administrative and clerical tasks), fund-raising event planning and education committees, to integrative therapy practitioners, and distributing information about the center to locations out in the community, or simply preparing a homemade meal for a client.
The BCRC would not be where it is today without a dedicated, energetic and caring volunteer base. There are always opportunities for new volunteers to join us in our mission to help women and their families as they face this overwhelming challenge in their lives.
Our on-site resource volunteers and peer-counselors participate in a comprehensive training program where they learn about breast cancer, resources, and listening and communication skills to be an effective volunteer.
We believe everyone has strengths and skills that can benefit others.
Would you like to volunteer your time, strengths and skills to support the BCRC?

Testimonials
"I give annually to the BCRC in celebration of my sister, Barbara. It is a tangible expression of my sincere appreciation for access to a hub of information and support she received when diagnosed with breast cancer."Matt, BCRC donor
