Silvana R. Kelly, Executive Director, is responsible for implementing the vision and overseeing the overall administration and financial security of the BCRC. Prior to joining the BCRC, Silvana worked as the Marketing Manager for First Nano, Inc., a nanotechnology company, where she successfully branded the company and its products as a leader in an emerging industry. Additionally, she has over 10 years medical marketing experience in the fields of facial and plastic surgery, and ophthalmology. Silvana holds a Bachelor's degree in Rhetoric from the University of California, Berkeley. Silvana is a breast cancer survivor.
Pam Truax, Director of Programs, coordinates support services and educational programs for the BCRC. She is also responsible for tracking client data and program outcomes, and participating in all BCRC outreach functions, fundraising and support.
Judy Blanco, Administrative Assistant & Peer-Counselor, has been an employee of the BCRC since 1997. As a breast cancer survivor she is passionate about the mission of the BCRC and shares with clients her survivorship knowledge, coping skills and heartfelt compassion. Amongst her many tasks, Judy also works on the administrative duties of the organization. Prior to joining the BCRC Judy worked in Research & Development for a major breast implant manufacturer. After a short 1 year retirement she returned to the center.
Chris Emanuel, Mammogram Project Coordinator, in this position Chris coordinates special grant programs (Mammogram and Breast Education) and client follow-up. Chris holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacology, ASQ Certified Quality Auditor, has over 30 years experience in the medical field specifically in regulatory affairs & clinical programs. She is provides administrative support for the program, interfaces with field outreach programs, and peer counseling.
Ana Luisa Rodriquez, Field Outreach Coordinator, actively promotes our Field Outreach programs amongst the Spanish speaking population. She is bilingual and understands the particular challenges of cultural & social issues surrounding and impeding good breast health within the target community. Ana Luisa holds a Bachelor’s Degree from Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México.
Ellen Fogel, MSW, Director of Integrative Therapy & Complementary Care, is a Volunteer. She is a RIEKI Master and founding mother of the program, and sits on the Advisory Board. She recruits, trains and schedules the program practitioners. Ellen is intrumental in developing and bringing new modalities to benefit our clients.
